Diamond Dust is a skill that scales very well into the late game. Its early game is hampered by low debuff consistency and random targeting (3 random enemies). However, it provides a tremendous damage boost at higher levels, making it a significant threat in more prolonged battles. It's primarily valuable for its debuff and late-game damage, not for consistent early-game damage.

Cold Flare has more consistent damage than Diamond Dust in the early to mid-game due to its higher initial damage and more reliable DoT (Damage over Time). Level 2 upgrade is very impactful due to the increased DoT duration, while on level 4, it provides a significant late-game power spike, making it a major threat in more prolonged battles.
