Lunalynn is a debuffer who is capable of inflicting Silence on multiple enemies, preventing them from using skills for 1 turn. This could prove deadly for your party because battles tend to end very quickly in MementoMori. One turn spent not using skills is one turn spent doing suboptimal damage to your enemies.

She is also capable of protecting her allies by increasing their P. DEF, which makes them take less damage from physical attacks. Lunalynn can also sustain herself with her second passive skill which not only decreases the damage she takes from attacks by 40% but increases her HP Drain by 25% - allowing her to steal her opponent's HP.

Ice Coffin

Blizzard of Despair

Lunalynn's first two skills are powerful debuffing attacks that can inflict Silence and Poison on her targets.

Ice Coffin damages the entire enemy party, with a chance to cast Silence on those who get a Critical Hit with the only drawback being its long cooldown of 7 turns. Blizzard of Despair meanwhile also damages the entire enemy party, and if Lunalynn has higher MAG than her targets, she will inflict Poison on them too - damaging them equal to 10% of their HP per turn for two turns.

The best way to deal with this is to outspeed Lunalynn and defeat her before she can even cast her debuffs, or have a good number of witches that can remove her Silence and Poison debuffs after she casts them.

Sisterly Bond

Frozen Heart

Lunalynn's passive skills, meanwhile, focus on protecting herself and her allies. The first one, Sisterly Bond, raises her team's P. DEF, making them more resistant to damage from attackers like Florence. Frozen Heart, meanwhile, preserved Lunalynnn herself by cutting the damage she received by up to 40% and giving her the ability to steal her enemies' HP.

Cordie

Cordie, despite being an attacker, is special in that her second passive skill, Smoke and Gunpowder, can provide her with Debuff Immunity, making it impossible to Silence or Poison her. If you happen to have her, she's one of the best counters you can field versus Lunalynn.

Cordie will shrug off all of Lunalynn's debuffs, while Merlyn cleanses any debuff that could be taken by the others. Soltina and Amleth meanwhile will act as tanks (with Soltina doing counter-debuffing with her own skills) while Primavera also attacks while inflicting Faint on enemies.

Witches Not To Use Against 【The Witch of Snowy Illusions】Lunalynn

Florence

By herself, Florence does not have any way to cleanse Lunalynn's Silence Debuff. Florence is also very dependent on her skills to do heavy damage so if she fails to fire off in the first turn, she might get taken out before the next turn happens.

Witch Illya

Another attacker without any ability to remove her own debuffs, Illya's Witch of God's Curse version becomes vulnerable once she gets Silenced because she won't be able to use her first skill to raise her accuracy. She won't be able to use her second skill either, especially if she manages to activate her God's Curse Unleashed buff.

Rusalka

Rusalka's skillset does not provide her with the ability to cleanse any debuffs she receives, and just like Florence or Illya, failing to use her skills at the first turn could end up with her getting defeated by an enemy team's attacker.

Tips for Beating 【The Witch of Snowy Illusions】Lunalynn

Raise Your Witches' CRIT RES

If you don't have witches that can cleanse debuffs, make your current witches resistant to debuffs instead. There are witches out there with a natural ability to raise their CRIT RES like Ophelia, so raise their CRIT RES further so that you can rest assured that you would have at least one witch who can use their skills.

Always Have One Witch That Can Cleanse Debuffs

If you don't have any of the recommended counter characters for Lunalynn, at least have a witch that is capable of cleansing debuffs so that your witches (especially your main attackers) will still be able to do their skills.

If All Else Fails, Defeat Lunalynn ASAP

In the case you have neither a witch that can cleanse debuffs nor a witch that has high CRIT RES, then at the very least get someone that can outspeed Lunalynn and take her out before she can cast her debuffs in the first place (people like Primavera or Zara could work, especially Primavera if she manages to make Lunalynn faint).
