Cordie is a witch with a powerful offensive kit and an Exclusive Weapon that can shred enemy defenses by a staggering value. On top of that, due to being a non-limited SR, she is incredibly easy to invest in and awaken. This makes her a character that sees extensive use in both PvE and PvP.

Deals 4 physical attacks equal to 420% of her ATK to enemies at random.
Level 2 (Unlocks by level 81)
Additionally, if a target is defeated by this skill, increases Cordie’s ATK by 50% for 1 turn.
Level 3 (Unlocks by level 161)
The physical attacks’ damage becomes equal to 570% of her ATK.

Strengthens The Quick & The Dead. Additionally, before dealing the physical attacks, decreases all targets’ DEF by 80% for 1 turn.
Level 2 (Unlocks at UR rarity)
Strengthens The Quick & The Dead. The number of turns of［Decreased DEF］and［Increased ATK］each become 2.
Level 3 (Unlocks at LR rarity)
Strengthens The Quick & The Dead. The number of physical attacks becomes 5.

Cordie's main nuke is her first active skill, The Quick & The Dead. This skill targets 4 (5 with a Level 3 Exclusive Weapon) witches at random and deals high damage to them. While it does increase Cordie's ATK stat, it will only activate if you manage to defeat an enemy with it.

While The Quick & The Dead's power at the early stages come from her passive, the story changes once you obtain Cordie's Exclusive Weapon: Jack & Pot. This gear enhances The Quick & The Dead exclusively, turning Cordie from a great attacker to an excellent debuffer as well. Her weapon's staggering 80% DEF shred, in combination with Cordie's massive speed, allows you to set up for success with a follow-up attack from another attacker such as Florence.

At the start of the turn, this skill grants ［Unhindered］to Cordie for 2 turns (cannot be dispelled). This skill activates 1 time every 3 turns.
Level 2 (Unlocks by level 141)
The number of turns of［Unhindered］becomes 3.
Level 3 (Unlocks by level 221)
［Unhindered］ changes to［Debuff Immunity］.

Unlike other attackers, Cordie has little to fear from enemy debuffs. This is because her passive skill, Smoke and Gunpowder, renders her completely immune to action-hindering debuffs such as Silence and Fainted, and to every other kind of debuff once she reaches level 221 and above.

Although Cordie is immune to Ophelia's Decreased ATK debuff, the latter is still an incredibly powerful counter against fragile attackers with high hit counts and random multi-hit skills. More often than not, Ophelia will just take all of Cordie's nuke with impunity and defeat the latter with counterattacks in the process.

In addition, Ophelia doesn't care much about Cordie's DEF Break and shred because of her damage cut passive, high HP, and ability to survive a fatal attack once with 1 HP.

Witches with massive health pools or those that can increase their team's HP can effectively, or at least mostly, shrug off Cordie's large DEF Break and shred values.

An attrition team that specializes in surviving multiple turns through their high healing and HP will spell a lot of trouble for Cordie users. Nina, in particular, is an excellent support unit for the team due to her ability to reflect Cordie's DEF shred debuff to her enemies, as well as her high survivability.

As with all attackers that use multi-hit attacks, Ophelia can punish them heavily with her Taunt and counterattack combo. With Fortina and Merlyn's support, Ophelia can maintain her health well into the battle.

Since Cordie cannot be debuffed, witches that scale off of enemy debuffs such as Elfriede won't be able to get the stat boosts she needs to function at her peak.

Similarly, due to being immune to all manner of debuffs, witches that seek to disable Cordie through them are almost entirely unusable.

Buffers that increase their party's defense such as Sivi would be hard-pressed to keep their allies alive against a Cordie with her Exclusive Weapon. Similarly, those who try to mitigate damage through high defenses such as Morgana will also have trouble.

Tips for Beating Cordie

Focus on Health Instead of Defense

Witches that can increase your HP and cut damage, as well as HP and STA runes, are excellent ways to get past Cordie's ridiculous DEF shred. Additionally, due to Cordie's Exclusive Weapon only working with her 1st Active Skill, she loses a lot of damage during the turns it is on cooldown.

Make Sure To Remove the Decreased DEF Debuff ASAP

Witches like Nina, Merlyn, and Priscilla, provided that they are fast enough to move right after Cordie, can remove the latter's Decreased DEF debuff from either themselves or their allies before the enemy team can take advantage of it. This will also help to make sure you don't get hit by a guaranteed critical damage from Cordie with her Fanning Shots skill on the second turn.

Stack Up Evasion

Like all attackers who do not have the skills to increase their hit rate, they are susceptible to being shut down by characters with high evasion like Nina.
