as someone who own both imbibitor + jingliu all i can say jingliu is better but there's not that many enemy with ice weakness which is a disadvantage, even tho my jingliu don't have her LC she still hit hard as my imbibitor with his LC, if only i have her weapon she would surely do better than my inbibitor with LC. welp guess i'll just wait for her banner again for her weapon.

well with hanabi release I’m sure Imbibtor Lunae will be fine since in top of her buffs and all she’ll allow him to use other supports than sp positive so he’ll still hold his ground even if he is no longer the best. I think jingliu will be fine too with mei release.
except if they make him get extra turns with no strict condition like seele having to kill a mob to get extra turn. or sp neutral like blade so he can work with aoe sub dps.
Hunt is mid and always ll be with single target. With only single target dmg you won't powercreeep Lunae no matter how big they ll be. But ofc game is so easy that powercreep doesn't matter you save only some time with it ;)
while that’s true, I personally don’t like hunt characters mainly because of the single target. The reason imbibtor Lunae is good is because he’s good at both single target and aoe which I believe Argenti will surpass him at so I’m going for him instead. After that I’ll probably start saving to get IL, Argenti and jingliu best teams cause I don’t think I should be going for each new meta character.
imagine dr. ratio the imaginary hunt coming out in 1.6 powercreeps imbibitor lunae in single target 😧 argenti as erudition will have upper hand in aoe (4-5 targets) while being great in single target as well. then imagine dr. ratio becoming new the hunt powerhouse. imbibitor lunae will be inbetween them.
Huohuo with Kafka, Guinaifen and Sampo in dot team ll be crazy.
well you should look at honkai impact. The powercreept their is insane, half of the characters their have become “unusable” cause each content requires some sort of different unit and old ones barely hold a candle to new ones. At least that’s what my friend who plays that game said. I wish they could be like genshin and balance the powercreep better. I had hope after jingliu release cause she didn’t powercreept lunae but Argenti and Hu huo leaked kit is saying otherwise.
tingyun alone should be enough.. you can get huohuo on rerun if you want his best team. argenti himself has good energy regen. his major trace also helps with his energy so his ult cost is not as huge as it looks. but yea it is too early to decide hoyo might change some stuff. even huohuo and hanya kit could get changed. jingliu suddenly got her kit changed mid 1.3.
anyway way, at that point, wouldn’t imbibtor lunae be completely powercrept and so will all the other dps, it’ll be even harder to top Argenti and I’m started to get worried for hsr further regarding powercreep cause all past units will seem underwhelming.
no way, I can not afford to get Huo huo sadly. But they might change his kit like they did with jingliu so it’s too soon, I hope there is a way to manage his energy without needing Huo Huo cause like I said, I can’t pull for her 😔.
