I really want a rerun to get her signature, glad I played with her in the 2.5 AS against Aventurine, even without Ruan Mei (because she was in my break team) she was good with Pela, Bronya and Huohuo. About the new set I think I'll pass for now because my ice set is pretty solid with 50/190 and 138spd. But I probably try with the books and test my luck meanwhile I'm farming for another character.
For older players, before you all go crazy re-farming relics for her, check what you have on her first because you probably already have relics that are just as good on her as Scholar Lost in Erudition. Yes, the new one is BIS for her, but really not by much. Just gotta ask yourself if weeks or months of re-farming for a small DPS increase is worth your time. Do your research because Game8 certainly won't test their recommendations. They're just like yup, that sounds good, it's better.
Her animations are much better than Firefly's. The only thing cool about Firefly is when she's changing into her ult state. After that, it's just fly and then a flurry of attacks. Rinse and repeat. Hoyo could've at least given her a few different animations to play with like bombing runs or different sword animations.
To all the people who are calling her mid now, what's the problem? She might not be able to max clear the final stages of endgame content like other recent DPS, but so what? You're only missing out on some jades. If that's enough to dismiss Jingliu then I pity your meta slave mentalities.

Probably never, would need to be something ridiculously broken to put her back against what's coming, and at that point you'd rather use the "Shenhe" support for a newer better ice dps.

Why she's still ss-tier?
Jingliu? More like MIDliu, mid asf and even if they bring back ice weaknesses, she's still gonna hit like a wet noodle.
Jingliu fell off so bad. 225 crit dmg, all talents maxed out, S5 Fall of an Aeon and she still cant hit 60k outside of stim universe or divergent.
been saying this since her released on reddit and everyone keeps downvoting me. she's mid, she's not as good as she used to, and even if they bring ice back, I'm sure it's just to promote a better ice character than her.
jingliu has shit dmg ceiling thats why she struggles to keep up nowadays. the 50 crit rate might have looked useful but her she balanced around that. shit uptime shit multiplier. she overbuffed herself on release and now new harmony barely does anything to push hee ceiling. still the same old jingliu even today.
nah bro💀 she fell off hard even Blade is somewhat getting better because of Jade. on the other hand, JL fell off hard, without ice weak enemies— she's shit. i dislike IL but even he's better than her these days with his performance in moc.
