List of Contents
| Feature | How Long to Beat |
|---|---|
| Main Quests | 35-45 Hours |
| Side Quests | 15-25 hours |
| Errands and Grinding | 25-30 hours |
| Total | 200+ Hours |
If you’re the type to do everything, such as doing side quests, poaching Monsters, and mastering different Jobs, It would take you around 100+ hours to get everything done.

Final Fantasy Tactics can be cleared in about 40 hours if you just complete on the main story campaign.
If you spend time grinding or leveling other jobs along the way, expect to hit around 50 hours for a full main story run.

There are a ton of Side Quests available in Final Fantasy Tactics. Although some of these quests take a few minutes to complete, it can take you around 15-25 hours to complete all of them, so feel free to do as soon as they become available.

Final Fantasy Tactics has a lot of collectibles and Jobs to master along the story. If you spend time grinding and leveling other jobs along the way, pick up some rare items, and poaching monsters, expect to hit around 25-30 hours just for grinding these up alone, even with a new speed-up function introduced.

There are no unlockables once you complete the main story of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Tactics. All gameplay features can be played from the beginning, and while there are missables, you can reach the ending even if you don't have them.

If you sped through just the main story, take some time again to fully take in everything that the game can offer. You can grind up and do the optional Midlight's Deep dungeon, or just check if you missed any collectibles.
All Missables and Points of No Return

Midlight's Deep is an optional dungeon that consists of 10 levels. At the final level, you will go up against a superboss with a chance to obtain one of the most powerful abilities in the game.
Each encounter is quite challenging, so you may need to spend a significant amount of time farming JP and EXP to prepare.

Sending units out for errands may result in them discovering collectibles. These are tied to unlocking certain trophies, so be sure to check the nearest Tavern whenever you get a chance.
Completing an errand takes several in-game days. To get through all of them quickly, you will need to multi-task and have a lot of units to deploy.
List of All Errands

The Thief ability Poach allows units to collect a monster's remains after defeating them. You can then take these to a Poacher's Den to trade them in for rare items.
Some monsters are harder to find, so it may be a while before you can obtain the rare items associated with them.
