Use Orlandeau and Agrias as the muscle in this party. Sword attacks like Divine Ruination ignore Elmdore's Shirahadori, and Agrias can also use Arts of War to Rend their stats and gear.
Though recruiting Beowulf will require completing a long side quest, he's a great addition. Chicken can reduce Elmdore's Bravery, making him less likely to parry, and he can also Disable the Assassins to prevent them from acting.
Ramza should focus on damage output and speed support as a Ninja with Mettle, while your Chemist can move around the map with Treasure Hunter to pick up treasure.
If You Plan to Steal the Genji Set
Assuming you already learned Ultima, mugging Elmdore by stealing the Genji equipment requires changing Ramza and your Chemist slightly.
The Chemist should “Heal and Steal,” healing the party with Items while trying to pinch the Genji set off Elmdore. Ramza will use a Brawler Ninja build combined with Steal to act as combination attacker-stealer.

| 1 |  Equip Japa Malas Before Battle Before entering the battle, reequip your entire party with the Japa Mala accessory. This protects them from being turned into Vampires by Elmdore. |
| 2 |  Defeat the Assassins and Ultima Demons Focus damage on the Assassins first. After they go down once, they'll turn into Ultima Demons. Taking them out early reduces chaos on the battlefield and prevents them from assisting Elmdore or using their potent status magic. |
| 3 |  Focus on Elmdore Your main target is Elmdore, the bloodsucking Ark Knight. Use Sword Techniques to inflict damage, then repeatedly Steal from him to nab the Genji set. Lowering his Bravery will reduce his parry chance, making it easier to land hits and Steal attempts. Immobilizing Elmdore and Disabling Lettie and Celia makes this battle much easier. Use stuns, slow effects, or other control abilities to limit his movement and reduce the threat from Vampire. |
