Party Size You can deploy up to 5 units.

Defeated enemies leave behind a countdown timer. When it reaches 0, they will turn into a crystal which will create a light source that helps light up the darkness. Once all enemies turn to crystal, the floor will be completely lit up!

Note: Obtaining the Crystal will only restore HP/MP, but will cause the room the darken. Avoid grabbing the crystals to keep the floor lit.

DELTA Walkthrough

Step-by-Step Guide

Equip Jump +2

Abilitity Job and JP Cost Effect
Jump +2Jump +2 Thief IconThief
500 JP
Increases jump attribute by 2, allowing the unit to traverse greater elevation differences.
Jump +3Jump +3 Dancer IconDancer
600 JP

DELTA features numerous sinkholes and changes in elevation. Luckily, the changes are moderate, allowing a unit with the Jump +2 ability or better to make their way around with ease.

Favor Ranged Units

The layout of the DELTA dungeon map puts melee units at a disadvantage. Sinkholes can keep enemies out of reach and give your melee fighters trouble closing the distance.

Instead, consider using ranged units and spellcasters in your team for the battle. Archers or gun-wielding units like Chemists, Machinists, and Orators will be able to pick off enemies from a distance without having to close in.

Best Job Tier List

Get the Yoichi Bow and Zeus Mace

Two of the most notable loot items in DELTA are the powerful Yoichi Bow and the Zeus Mace staff.

The Yoichi Bow is a straight upgrade of the mid-game Artemis Bow, and the Zeus Mace improves both Physical and Magick Attack Power, making it a good companion for staff-wielding jobs like Mystic and Netherseer.

Best Characters and Units

Best Characters to Use
Ramza Beoulve IconRamza
Agrias Oaks IconAgrias
Cidolfus Orlandeau IconOrlandeau
Rapha Galthena IconRapha
Black Mage IconBlack Mage Mustadio Bunansa IconMustadio

Ramza in his Gallant Knight job can fill the role of both frontline attacker and support with Mettle, providing buffs such as Tailwind and Shout. Agrias and Orlandeau both have ranged sword attacks, allowing them to fight without wasting movement. Treasure Hunter unit.

Rapha's naturally low Bravery makes her the best choice for dedicated Treasure Hunter, while a Black Mage with Arithmeticks can deal heavy damage to all units when set up correctly.

Mustadio is a highly capable ranged attacker in his Machinist job, and if you've taught him skills from the Chemist or Orator line, can help with buffs, healing and debuffs. Adding the Knight's Arts of War can also make him a ranged equipment-breaker!

Best Characters to Use
Archer IconArcher Chemist IconChemist Geomancer IconGeomancer

Archers have an arc to their bow attack that might help target enemies in sinkholes at range, while Chemists can support the team and do treasure hunting on the side. Geomancer can be an interesting alternative choice of spellcaster, as they will be able to spam Tremor due to all of the usable terrain being of the Stone Outcropping type.

These tiles have a chance to reward either normal or rare drops, or activate a trap. To increase your chances of getting the rare drops, your dedicated Treasure Hunter unit should have low Bravery.

Rapha is one of the best Treasure Hunters in the game due to her naturally low Bravery, but any unit that you've lowered their Bravery can function as your Treasure Hunter unit to get the rare weapons Glacial Gun, Blaze Gun, and Kiyomori!

How to Increase or Decrease Bravery

DELTA Recruitable Characters

No Special Recruitable Characters

There are no special recruitable characters in DELTA. However, you can recruit both human units and monsters from the floor if you have a unit with the Entice or Tame abilities respectively.

Reis is one of the best monster recruiters in the game since she naturally has both Tame and Beast Tongue in her base Dragonkin job.
