Party Size You can deploy up to 5 units.

Defeated enemies leave behind a countdown timer. When it reaches 0, they will turn into a crystal which will create a light source that helps light up the darkness. Once all enemies turn to crystal, the floor will be completely lit up!

Note: Obtaining the Crystal will only restore HP/MP, but will cause the room the darken. Avoid grabbing the crystals to keep the floor lit.

BRIDGE Walkthrough

Step-by-Step Guide

Equip Movement +2

Abilitity Job and JP Cost Effect
Movement +2Movement +2 Thief IconThief
560 JP
Increases movement by 2, allowing the unit to move a greater distance.
Movement +3Movement +3 Bard IconBard
1000 JP
Increases movement by 3, allowing the unit to move a greater distance.

Bridge does not have that much elevation differences compared to earlier levels so equipping Movement +2 is more useful for navigating this floor. Male units can also equip Movement +3 learned from Bard to make traversing the floor easier.

Use White Magic and Healing Items on Undead

Many Undead enemies like Skeletons and Revenants may appear in BRIDGE. Consider including a White Mage or Chemist in your party to have them deal with these targets quickly.

White Magic abilities like Cure and healing items such as Potions will deal damage to Undead enemies instead of healing them. Items and abilities used to revive targets like Phoenix Down or Raise will bring their health down to 0 immediately.

Obtain Rare Weapons

The rare weapons, Staff of the Magi and Koga Blade, can be found in this dungeon at K5 and M5 respectively. These are both high-level weapons that are hard to come by so be sure to pick them up here.

Best Characters and Units

Best Characters to Use
Ramza Beoulve IconRamza
Beowulf Cadmus IconBeowulf
Cidolfus Orlandeau IconOrlandeau
Rapha Galthena IconRapha
Black Mage IconBlack Mage Chemist IconChemist

Ramza in his Gallant Knight job can fill the role of both frontline attacker with Mettle, providing buffs such as Tailwind and Shout. Beowulf is good to have since he can debuff and neuter the last enemy, allowing you to freely explore the floor with your Treasure Hunter unit.

Orlandeau's high speed and powerful Swordplay abilities can deal heavy damage with Divine Ruination or destroy gear with Crush Weapon. He'll be your main offensive unit to take out distant units or particularly tanky enemies.

Rapha's naturally low Bravery makes her the best choice for dedicated Treasure Hunter, while a Black Mage with Arithmeticks can deal heavy damage to all units when set up correctly. Finally, bring a Chemist equipped with a gun and Arts of War so you can debuff or break weapons from range!

Best Characters to Use
Dancer IconDancer Bard IconBard White Mage IconWhite Mage

Both Dancers and Bards can inflict debuffs and buffs with their Dance and Bardsong abilities respectively. Alternatively, you can swap out the Chemist with a White Mage if your team needs more powerful healing.

These tiles have a chance to reward either normal or rare drops, or activate a trap. To increase your chances of getting the rare drops, your dedicated Treasure Hunter unit should have low Bravery.

Rapha is one of the best Treasure Hunters in the game due to her naturally low Bravery, but any unit that you've lowered their Bravery can function as your Treasure Hunter unit to get the rare weapons Koga Blade and Staff of the Magi!

How to Increase or Decrease Bravery

BRIDGE Recruitable Characters

No Special Recruitable Characters

There are no special recruitable characters in BRIDGE. However, you can recruit both human units and monsters from the floor if you have a unit with the Entice or Tame abilities respectively.

Reis is one of the best monster recruiters in the game since she naturally has both Tame and Beast Tongue in her base Dragonkin job.
