Chapter 4: In the Name of Love Walkthrough
Your chances of finding rare treasure items depends on the unit's Bravery. The lower the unit's Bravery the higher your chances of finding rare treasure items become, so try to add units with low Bravery to your party if you're trying to find treasure.
If you equip the Treasure Hunter movement ability, apart from allowing units to discover hidden items on tiles, the chances of finding rare items also increases.
Chemists have Treasure Hunter as an Innate Ability, meaning that they do not need to equip it to find buried treasure. However, equipping Treasure Hunter on a Chemist can increase the chance of finding a rare item!
Treasure Hunter Ability Effects and JP Cost
To save time, consider creating a save before walking over a hidden item tile, then reloading if the result is poor. Though your chances of getting a rare item are still influenced by other factors, the ability to reload can help mitigate frustration.
