This build allows Ramza to repeatedly cast Holy on multiple enemies from across the map and even heal himself if necessary using Excalibur's ability to absorb Holy-elemental damage.
Ramza's Gallant Knight class has great PA and MA growth and Ramza himself can increase his permanent Faith to 97 without leaving the party, making him one of the best users of Arithmeticks.

Mustadio's ability to equip Guns allows him to deal damage from far ranges while still providing valuable support with his Aimed Shot job command. Using Arts of War, Mustadio can also break enemy equipment from long distances, neutering enemies before they can even reach your units.

Agrias's access to Holy Sword and ability to equip Knight's Swords gives her reliable damage output and high Speed due to Excalibur's permanent Haste effect.
Ribbon protects against negative statuses while Chantage provides Reraise to revive Agrias after she is knocked out.

Rapha can fill the role of the team's dedicated White Mage, providing healing and support with White Magick and Celestial Void from her Sky Mantra job command.

Marach can attack both high and low Faith enemies with this Black Mage build using Rod of Faith, ensuring he is able to deal good magickal damage against both types of foes. Black Magick is used to attack high Faith enemies, while Nether Mantra is used against low Faith ehemies.

Reis has the highest MA growth and base stats in the game, making her perfect for an Arithmeticks-focused role. Her lack of equipment options isn't a big drawback due to her incredibly high stats.
She also has innate Dual Wield along with high base PA stats and growth to lean towards physical attacks if necessary.
| Equipment | Abilities | ||

Beowulf's base Templar job class is great for a support role, able to inflict various debuffs onto his foes. Templar also has access to Knight's Swords and Robes, giving him great equipment options.
| Equipment | Abilities | ||

This build maximizes Meliadouls' offenses while also investing enough in her survivability. Ribbon protects against status effects while Chantage provides Reraise in case Meliadoul is knocked out.
| Equipment | Abilities | ||

This build maximizes damage output and Speed, making Orlandeau a force on the battlefield. Swordplay is powerful enough to be used all the time, leaving the secondary job command flexible depending on team needs.

Cloud's best Soldier build needs Swiftspell in order to speed up his Limit abilities. The rest of the build simply optimizes for Speed and equips Iaido to have additional instant-cast options if Limit isn't a viable option at the moment.

Dual Wielding two Icebrands and equipping Black Robe deals the most damage whenever using the Attack command as Squires, making this their best build when it comes to dealing damage.
Squires are more of an early-game job class, but this is the build to go with if you wish to use them later in the game.

The Chemist's ability to equip Guns allows them to deal damage from far ranges while still providing valuable support with their Items job command. Using Arts of War, Chemists can also break enemy equipment from long distances, neutering enemies before they can even reach your units.
| Equipment | Abilities | ||

Knights make great use of Dual Wield due to having access to both Chaos Blade and Excalibur. Dual Wield also allows Knights to attack twice using Arts of War, doubling the break attempts for equipment and reducing enemy stats twice.

Similar to Chemist, the Archer can deal damage from far ranges using Bows while also utilizing the Arts of War job command to break enemy equipment from far away.
Bows deal variable damage based on Speed compared to the consistent damage output of Guns, making them a more offensive ranged option than Chemists.

White Mages have high MA growth but a lack of offensive spells in the White Magick job command. Thus, they rely on their secondary job command for offensive output.

Thieves have high speed and rely on it to make use of their Steal job command. Combat-wise, they aren't as good as other job classes, but they have a clear role in battles where you need them.
This build maximizes damage output and Steal percentage at the same time, improving the Thief's performance.

Summoner is also a viable user of Arithmeticks due to their high MA growth.
Summons cannot be cast off Arithmeticks, giving Summoners some additional versatility compared to other Arithmeticks users. Golem in particular is one of the best summons due to its global range.
| Equipment | Abilities | ||

Geomancer is a unique class that appreciates both PA and MA investment due to their physical attacks and Geomancy dealing different damage types.
A mixed phase build allows Geomancers to attack with either physical attacks or Geomancy to deal the appropriate damage type needed for different situations.
| Equipment | Abilities | ||

This Dragoon build maximizes attacking power, allowing them to Jump to enemies and deal massive damage. Throw is chosen to provide an instant ranged attack whenever it becomes nesessary. Septième Sens provides permanent Haste which is more important than any other accessory.

Dual Wield allows Samurais to attack twice and deal maximum damage. Dual Wield is superior to Doublehand, as it spreads the damage and avoids dealing zero whenever the foes evade attacks. Septième Sens provides permanent Haste in order to patch up their mediocre speed.
