Swine has a chance of spawning in Dorvauldar Marsh when you come in from Fort Besselat. The chances of Swine appearing here are low, so it is recommended that you save your progress before entering the marsh,

How to Make Swine Appear

Step Description
1 Travel to Fort Besselat on the world map and save your progress.
2 Move to Dorvauldar Marsh.
3 When a battle starts, check to see if a Swine has spawned among the enemies.
4 If you don't see a Swine, load your save file then repeat steps 2 and 3.

A Swine may also appear as a guest during the encounter here. You will be able to recruit this Swine if it survives the fight.

How to Obtain a Wild Boar and Poach It
・Encounter a Swine and Tame it.
Breed the Swine and produce Monster Eggs.
・Wait for the egg to hatch into a Wild Boar
Deploy the Wild Boar into combat as an ally.
Poach the Wild Boar for its gear drops.

Despite their name, Wild Boars cannot be found in the wild as a monster spawn. They can only be bred via Monster Eggs produced by tamed Swine.

Thus, in order to obtain a Wild Boar, you must first encounter and tame a Swine, then breed it to create Monster Eggs that may hatch into an allied Wild Boar.
