FF Tactics - How to Level Up Fast
You can level up fast using the Focus Farming Method in Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles. Learn how to farm EXP using the Focus Farm Method, as well as the best party setups and gear to optimize farming here!

How to Level Up Fast

Use the Focus Farm Method

1 Equip Ramza and your EXP Farmers EXP Boost.
2 Kill all enemies on the field except one.
3 Have your Knight use Rend Speed to lower the last enemy's Speed to 1.
4 When Ramza's turn starts, use Tailwind on himself and the EXP Farmers to boost Speed and grant more turns.
5 Use Focus when a EXP Farmer's turn starts to earn EXP.

You will need to spam the Focus job command whenever your EXP Farmer's turn begins. Once Ramza increases everyone's Speed with Tailwind, your EXP Farmers will receive more turns that will enable you to spam Focus continuously during battle.

Additionally, you will need to leave out one enemy on the field and make sure to decrease their speed with Rend Speed until it reaches 1.

This ensures that your party acquires as many turns as possible to spam Focus. Once 1 Speed is reached, ensure your Knight kite the remaining enemy so that it won't target the rest of your party.

Learn EXP Boost From Arithmetician

You can learn the EXP Boost support ability from the Arithmetician job. It is recommended to learn the EXP Boost from the Arithmetician job in order to increase the efficiency of the EXP farming method mentioned above.

It's recommended that all your EXP Farmers have the EXP Boost support ability to optimize EXP farming per cast of Focus.

It's also efficient to equip speed-boosting equipment for all your units to help get them more turns in battle. Make sure Ramza and the EXP Farmers in your party equip Thief's Cap, while your Knight should have Excalibur.

The Deluxe Edition also provides the Akademy Blade that boosts speed when equipped, which should be ideally placed on Ramza's equipment in order for him to boost everyone with Tailwind.
