Use Reequip to Change Equipment During Battle
It is recommended to use the Reequip ability for your characters, as the enemy forces can remove your party members' equipment if they can constantly attack the same target multiple times.
Reequip Ability Effects and JP Cost
Employ Orlandeau and Ramza as Main Offensive Units
Use Orlandeau and Agrias as your main offensive specialists during this battle, allowing you to concentrate all their attacks against Zalera. Make sure your Units are not clustered together and spread out so that they won't be targets to Zalera's AoE spells.
Employ both the Judgement Blade from the Sword Saint and Holy Knight jobs to maximize your damage output in battle.
Ensure Orlandeau and Agrias are Not Sleeping or Confused
Orlandeau and Agrias can both use Judgement Blade, which can significantly shorten the span of the battle when used consecutively against Zalera, so make sure both of them have support that remedies Sleep or Confused when they're inflicted with these status effects.
Use Purification from the Monk job, or Remedy from the Chemist job, to remove these status ailments in battle.
Take Advantage of Meliadoul
Meliadoul can help remove the enemy forces located on the back portion of the battlefield, using Divine Knight abilities that can effectively remove their equipment in battle to downplay their utility.

Use Phoenix Down Against Undead Enemies
Dispatch the remaining undead enemies after you've defeated Zalera and the rest of his accomplices in battle. If you have some spare Phoenix Downs, use them against the undead to dispose of them quickly.
