How to Beat Dycedarg (Adrammelech)

Attack Targets From Below
Dycedarg will begin the fight atop a set of stairs and an arch, with your party below. Use Sword Techniques like Holy Sword, Swordplay, and Unyielding Blade to attack him on the upper level.
Keep your units near or under the arch to confuse Dycedarg's pathfinding and keep him from descending the stairs too quickly.

Consider Stealing Dycedarg's Weapon
Dycedarg wields the powerful Defender Knight's Sword. If you have a Thief or Steal-equipped unit able to get close to Dycedarg in the opening turns, you can try stealing it to outfit your party with.
Best Equipment to Steal and Where to Get Them
Defend Against Confuse and Stone
Before the battle you will want to wear gear that protects against Confuse and Stone, like the Nu Khai Armband or Jade Armlet, to protect against these status ailments.
While Dycedarg will not use these spells intially, his second form will.
Dycedarg Turns Into Adrammelech
After defeating Dycedarg, he will transform into Adrammelech, the Wroth, beginning the second phase of the battle. All other enemies, including Zalbaag, will disappear, allowing you to focus on the boss.
Attack Adrammelech while he remains on the arch and stairs, taking advantage of your position below him. He will be forced to descend to hit your party.
Hit Him While He Summons
Adrammelech may attempt to summon Bahamut to hit your group. This spell has a long charge time, so take the opportunity to focus your attacks on him. Dycedarg will be vulnerable while charging.
Even if you cannot down him before he casts the summon, any Summoners you bring have a chance to learn Bahamut if they don't know it already, assuming they survive.

This party favors members that can attack regardless of height difference, particularly Agrias, Orlandeau, and Meliadoul. Dragoons can also work, thanks to their Jump attacks.
Ramza works as as a support and a Black Mage with Arithmeticks provides area and magickal firepower.
You can also swap in a Thief or Monk for further physical damage, or an additional mage for more utility.
