Bravery Raises Occurrence For Reaction Abilities
Bravery is an attribute that determines whether a unit will use its reaction abilities in battle. Units that have a high bravery output will have a higher damage output when fighting bare-handed or using katanas in battle.

Low Bravery Determines Chicken Status or Leave From Party
Low Bravery in Units can be afflicted with the Chicken status, resulting in actions that avoid enemy engagement in battle.
Additionally, Units that have their Bravery attributes drop to 5 or below at the end of battle will desert your party permanently.
Bravery Affects the Chances of Finding Rare Treasures for the Treasure Hunter Ability
| Bravery | % Chance |
|---|---|
| 10 Bravery | 90% chance of finding good treasure |
| 97 Bravery | 3% chance of finding good treasure |
The Formula is 100 - Bravery = % chance of finding good treasure.
Bravery also affects the chances of finding rare (good) treasure for the Treasure Hunter ability. The lower the bravery the higher the chances of finding rare treasure.

Although Chemists already have an innate Treasure Hunter ability, they can be equipped with another one to futher improve their chances of finding a good treasure.

Faith Raises Magick Power and Restoration Spells
Faith is an attribute that governs the potential damage output of your magicks, as well as the efficiency of your restoration spells in battle.
High Faith Can Lead to Desertion From Party
Units that have reached a faith attribute of 95 or higher at the end of battle will desert your party to follow a higher calling of their Faith.
It is recommended that you do not let your Units reach these attribute numbers to avoid them leaving your party.
How to Raise or Lower Bravery and Faith
Use Certain Abilities to Raise or Lower Bravery
Bravery can be raised or lowered during combat by employing certain abilities. You can raise Bravery by using Squire abilities such as Shout or Steel, while abilities like Threaten from the Orator job can lower Bravery.
How to Increase or Decrease Bravery
Use Abilities to Influence Faith Attribute Numbers
You can use certain abilities, such as Preach from the Orator job or Faith Boost from the Bard job, to raise the number of the Faith attribute.
