This is a list of all the Support Abilities in Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles. See all the Support Abilities in the game, as well as which jobs and how much JP you'll need to learn them here.

100 | Allows the use of Speechcraft against creatures, even if not an orator. | |
Equip Axes |
170 | Allows the unit to equip axes, regardless of job. | |
Beastmaster |
200 | Adds a hidden ability to all allied creatures in neighboring tiles with an elavation difference of up to 3. | |
Poach |
200 | Allows the unit to claim a creature's carcass by defeating it with the standard Attack command. | |
Brawler |
200 | Delivers more powerful bare-handed attacks, even if not a monk. | |
JP Boost |
250 | Increases the amount of JP and Job EXP earned in battle. | |
Safeguard |
250 | Prevents equipment from being destroyed or stolen. | |
Equip Shields |
250 | Allows the unit to equip shields, regardless of job. | |
EXP Boost |
350 | Increases the amount of EXP earned in battle. | |
Equip Crossbows |
350 | Allows the unit to equip crossbows, regardless of job. | |
Throw Items |
350 | Allows the unit to throw items with the Items command within a range of 4 tiles like a chemist, even if using a different job. | |
Magick Defense Boost |
400 | Increases the unit's defense against magickal attacks. | |
Magick Boost |
400 | Increases the unit's magickal attack power. | |
Equip Swords |
400 | Allows the unit to equip swords, regardless of job. | |
Defense Boost |
400 | Increases the unit's defense against physical attacks. | |
Attack Boost |
400 | Increases the unit's physical attack power. | |
Equip Polearms |
400 | Allows the unit to equip polearms, regardless of job. | |
Equip Katana |
400 | Allows the unit to equip katanas, regardless of job. | |
Concentration |
400 | Ignores the target's physical evasion, ensuring that physical attacks always hit. | |
Tame |
500 | Forces a critically wounded enemy creature to become an ally. At the end of battle, that unit will officially join your party. | |
Equip Heavy Armor |
500 | Allows the unit to equip helms and armor, regardless of job. | |
Equip Guns |
800 | Allows the unit to equip guns, regardless of job. | |
Doublehand |
900 | Allows the unit to wield a single-handed weapon with both hands. Certain weapons can be equipped in this manner, greatly increasing their attack power. | |
Swiftspell |
1000 | Reduces the time needed to cast magick spells. | |
Halve MP |
1000 | Reduces MP consumption by half when using magicks. | |
Dual Wield |
1000 | Allows the unit to wield a weapon in each hand, even if not a ninja. Certain weapons can be equipped in this manner, allowing the unit to attack twice each turn. |
Characters will need to equip a Support Ability first in order for it to be activate. You can only equip one at a time, so make sure to select the support ability that's most beneficial to the unit and enhances their current build.
Support abilities are passives that are always active on a character. However, as a note, some jobs will have a support ability innately active, and you won't need to equip them when selecting abilities for it to be active.
