Turn Ramza Into Monk With Dual Wield
Ramza will be fighting against Wiegraf alone and isolated from the rest of his party. In essence, this will be a battle of attrition so you will need to focus on surviving until the end of the battle.
It is recommended that you use the Monk job for Ramza with the Dual Wield ability so that you could hit twice during your attacks. For the rest of his equipment, consider using Power Garb and Power Gauntlets to greatly enhance attack.
Monk Stats, Abilities, and How to Unlock
Use Chakra to Heal Damage
Chakra from the Monk job can allow Ramza to heal HP without expending MP or restorative items from your inventory.
Alternatively, equipping Auto-Potion to Ramza and stocking up on High Potions and X-Potions will increase his chances of surviving against his battle with Wiegraf.
Use Tailwind Every Turn
It is recommended to keep spamming Tailwind on Ramza to increase his speed. His speed will eventually become so high that he'll have several turns before Wiegraf can even move, allowing you to attack and buff him for the many turns he'll acquire.
Tailwind Ability Effects and JP Cost
Use Shockwave to Damage Wiegraf
It is recommended that you use the Shockwave skill from the Monk job as it costs no MP to utilize. Shockwave also deals long-range attacks, so you can avoid incurring damage from Wiegraf's Counter.
