| What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Good F2P unit with modern statline. ・Jehanna Lance+ has built-in Phantom Spd, grants Saber and nearby allies Atk/Spd+6, 【Dodge】, and in-combat Penalty neutralization at the start of each phase, and grants Saber in-combat bonus stats, damage reduction on foe's first attack, and damage reflection based on damage reduced. |
|
Might: 14 Range: 1 If a skill compares unit's Spd to a foe's or ally's Spd, treats unit's Spd as if granted +7. At start of player phase or enemy phase, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6, 【Dodge】, and "neutralizes penalties on unit during combat" to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 7 during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and unit's next attack deals damage = total damage reduced from foe's first attack (by any source, including other skills). Resets at end of combat. |
|
Cooldown Count = 2 Reduces damage inflicted by attacks from adjacent foes by 30%. |
|
If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Spd/Def+6 to unit during combat, and also, if unit's Special is ready or unit's Special triggered before or during this combat, deals +5 damage during combat. (Except when dealing damage with area-of-effect Specials.) |
|
At the start of turn 1, if foe’s attack triggers Special, grants Special cooldown -2. Unit takes 5 less damage when Special triggers. |

| See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Jehanna Saber will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Jehanna Saber are +Spd and -Res. Despite Atk being a superboon and Spd just a regular boon, boosting Saber's Spd is more important as it allows him to keep up with the fastest metagame units even without his own exclusive weapon.
Jehanna Saber's Res is abysmal at only base 21 and is a clear dump stat. Taking it as a bane shouldn't affect his matchups.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Jehanna Saber up to +10 to allow him to keep up with fast metagame foes.

This build uses Divine Codes to equip Saber with skills suited for an Omnitank build. If getting Atk/Def Oath 4 isn't possible, other skills that boost Def or support skills are also viable.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Jehanna Saber is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Jehanna Saber's inheritable weapon Jehanna Lance+ is a fantastic inheritable weapon on par with Arcane weapons.
It has a built-in Phantom Spd effect, and grants himself and his nearby allies Atk/Spd+6, 【Dodge】, and a Null Debuffs status effect at the start of each phase.
In combat, Jehanna Lance+ grants Saber Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, 7 damage reduction on his foe's first attack, and damage reflection equal to the total amount of damage reduced from his foe's first attack in the current combat.
Jehanna Lance+ has both support and combat effects and damage reflection is one of the best effects in the game, making it a valuable weapon to give to your favorite units.
Jehanna Saber suffers from not having any unique skills to call his own, making him unable to stand out amongst other units.
Lance Infantry units are quite abundant in the game, and lacking an exclusive weapon makes Jehanna Saber replaceable by better units.
Jehanna Saber's base 21 Res leaves him extremely vulnerable to enemies that deal magic or adaptive damage.
He will be completely reliant on damage reduction effects to survive combat against heavy magic nukers. Keep him away from these foes to ensure his survival.

Jehanna Saber has Jehanna Lance+, Spd/Def Finish 3, and Shield Pulse 3 as inheritable options.
Jehanna Lance+ is one of the best inheritable lance weapons in the game, on par with Arcane lances. We heavily recommend prioritizing it.
His other skills are merely for bridge fodder purposes.

Why does the suggested build choose laguz loyalty instead of LF4? I realize the extra +7 spd in his weapon & higher speed than Def would give him a little better true DR, but LF4 would give more true dmg & more importantly dmg piercing (his def is decent, & could be better with skills that increase it, too, if u go this route). The suggested build should at least use a tempo echo instead of guard, IMO, if he uses laguz loyalty, so he can pierce. I'm about to build him & I'm torn on what to give.
