+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Nephenee are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Nephenee to get a ton of follow-up attacks on her foes. This improves her offense through follow-up attacks and rapid Moonbow activation. Her Res of is less importance and thus safe to be taken as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Nephenee to 10.This is for the same reasons as above. She will reach 42 Spd at 10 merges with this IV. If you prefer relying on skills and buffs to increase Nephenee's Spd, you can go for a +Atk IV instead.

How to Use, Explanation

Compared to Nephenee's other build, this is more centered in the player phase! Fury 4 will easily put you onto Wrath and Brazen range. At that point, a Moonbow boosted attack from Nepehenee is sure to deal tons of damage!

We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Dauntless Lance

Taking Nephenee's special effect refine gives her a built-in effect identical to Steady Posture 2. It is pretty straightforward and it is nothing really fancy, but it is a must get if Nephenee is one of your main units. It helps her in her primary role as a physical wall dual-phase unit as the bonuses will help her defend against physical units better. In some occasions, the Spd bonus will also allow her to score a follow-up attack! Note that these bonuses are not available in the player phase.

Nephenee is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Nephenee Strengths

Skillset allows for rapid Moonbow activation!

Nephnee's Dauntless Lance puts Moonbow to a cooldown of 1 and Wrath subtracts another counter every start of the turn if she is at least 75% or below. This means that Nephenee can land a Wrath-boosted Moonbow every turn if the conditions are right! Put some strategy into using her and rain down Moonbow-loaded attacks with Nephenee!

This makes her great unit in consecutive maps as the damage she takes in one map will be kept over the next maps. This means that you can start every map with a Moonbow-ready Nephenee!

Special effect refine jives well with Wrath and the rest of her kit

Nephenee's special effect refine grants her a built-in weapon effect similar to Steady Posture 2. The added enemy phase Spd/Def allows her to smoothly arrive at Wrath range just by being in the danger zone and absorbing physical attacks! Through this process, she can already take out enemy units as Moonbow will activate very quickly.

Nephenee Weaknesses

Low Res

Nephenee's Res only sits at 20 at Lv.40. This makes it easy for magic users to take her out. Be mindful of Nephenee's positioning in relation to magical units that can easily take her out. Have Nephenee attack danger zones that are covered by physical units as dragonstones, staves and tomes will take her out quick. If you can, organize a team around her so that she can enjoy buffs from skills like Fortify Res

Low HP

The only stat holding back Nephenee from being a flawless physical tank is her somewhat low HP. She sports only 37 HP at Lv. 40 which is quite low for a frontline unit. If she is hit by a skill like Luna, she can fall easily. Take out enemies who have high-powered specials as their pure damage goes through Nephenee's thick Def stat!

This makes Nephenee a great candidate for Summoner Support as that bonus grants +5 HP when maxed!
