Scion Larcei's best IVs are +Spd and -Res. +Spd is a Superboon and boosts Larcei's already high Spd stat even higher and maximizes the damage reduction of Frenzy. Her Res is her lowest stat and lowering it will not change most of her matchups, thus it is safe to take as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge Project

If you want to build a +10 merged Scion Larcei, we recommend a +Spd IV. Maximizing her Spd ensures that always has the most amount of damage reduction from Frenzy and the most potential to create a follow-up attack against her opponents.

Scion Larcei is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Scion Larcei Strengths

Rapid Specials thanks to Whirling Grace and Frenzy

Whirling Grace accelerates Larcei's Special trigger which puts Regnal Astra to a 1 count cooldown. If she is in Frenzy range, she can land a normal hit and a Special hit conscutively! This can take out a wide range of units especially if Larcei is well supported.

Scion Larcei has an amazing Spd stat; this is perfect for Regnal Astra and Frenzy 3 that both leverage Spd.

• Regnal Astra upon activation deals bonus damage equal to 40% of unit's Spd.
• Frenzy can reduce up to 40% damage depending on how much faster Larcei is versus her foe.

This encourages Summoners to stack Spd onto Larcei.

Buffs maker her formidable in the enemy phase, too!

This is taken from a player phase scenario, but these are available in the enemy phase too!

Though Larcei's main gimmick is being in a Frenzy HP range, and taking out foes in the player phase, Larcei can pack a punch in the enemy phase too! Thanks to the buffs from:

• Whirling Grace: +5 Atk/Spd/Def/Res
• Spd/Def Solo: +7 Def/Spd
• Joint Drive Atk: +4 Atk

She can be possess a ball of stats that allows her to compete even at non-Frenzy HP ranges! Thanks to these stats and Frenzy's damage reduction, taking enemy attacks deliberately is a good option to get into an HP range ideal for Frenzy and Whirling Grace.

Scion Larcei Weaknesses

Joint Drive Atk and Spd/Def Solo 4 can be tricky to use in conjuction

Spd/Def Solo 4 requires Larcei have no adjacent allies to activate. Pretty easy requirement to meet, but Joint Drive Atk needs her to be within 2 spaces of allies to activate. You need to be very aware of Larcei's positioning in relation to allies to run her in full potential.

The same goes for Frenzy and Whirling Grace's HP requirements

For Frenzy's consecutive attacks and Whirling Grace's stat buffs to be online simultaneously, Larcei's HP needs to be beetween or equal to 25% - 50%. This is a very precide range, so you might need some planning beforehand to go to this range.

Frenzy 3 requires some setup for attack priority

Though arguably better than Desperation 3, Frenzy requires a harder trigger condition. For Scion Larcei to gain attack priority from this skill, she needs to be at least at or below 50% HP.
