As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Summer Leonie will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.

+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Summer Leonie are +Spd and -Res. Her Atk is already high and increasing her Spd will allow her to potentially double and one-shot enemy units.

Her Res is already pretty low, so it would safe to take it as his bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Leonie to 10.

How to Use, Explanation

This general purpose build allows Leonie to pick off enemies with her great offensive stats while retaining movement options using Reposition and A/D Far Trace 3. Atk Smoke 3, together with Spendthrift Bow+ and Leonie's high speed stat give her deceptive survivability against most physical units.

How to Use, Explanation

This build maximizes Arena scoring and Leonie's great offensive stats to inflict as much damage as possible. A/D Far Trace 3 is used instead of Lull Spd/Def 3 in order to move Leonie to safety after an attack.

How to Use, Explanation

This Aether Raids defense build aims to soften enemy tanks, allowing the rest of your defense team to clean up. Firesweep Bow+ is used to ensure Leonie's safety, barring opponents carrying Null C-Disrupt. The assist slot is empty to manipulate AI and ensure Leonie moves and attacks first.

Summer Leonie is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Summer Leonie Strengths

Steals foe's bonuses to Def through Sunflower Bow+!

Buffs are granted to Summer Leonie upon initiating, but Sunflower Bow+ doesn't stop there! The debuff to the foe can be seen too.

Sunflower Bow+ can do the following if Summer Leonie initiates combat, or if foe's HP ≥ 75% in the enemy phase:

1. Grants Def+5 to Leonie
2. Grants any Def bonuses from foe to Leonie
3. Erases the buffs from foe!

This ensures Leonie hits hard, and helps in keeping herself bulky regardless of how buffed up enemy units are! If the foe is heavily buffed in Def, this weapon is sure to turn the tides of combat.

Atk/Spd Push buffs her Atk and Spd

With Atk/Spd Push 3, Summer Leonie grants herself Atk/Spd+5, which increases her overall firepower.

Spd/Def Link buffs her Spd and Def!

In addition to the bonuses grants by her weapon and Atk/Spd Push 3, Leonie also grants herself and her ally Spd/Def+6 when she uses a movement assist skill.

This can be easily triggered, as Summer Leonie comes with Reposition.

Triggering this skill helps with her overall physical bulk by pushing her Def higher and also helps her score follow-up attacks by upping her Spd.

Summer Leonie Weaknesses

Low Res makes her vulnerable to magic users or those that calculate lower stats

Summer Leonie has low Res at Lvl 40, which will make her an easy target of tome users or dragon units.

Examples of these are Reinhardt, Myrrh, or even Petrine!

Be careful when she's within range of these types of units and have her retreat to safety!

Weak to Cavalry Effective Weapons

Summer Leonie takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Ridersbane or a Wolf weapon like Rauðrwolf+, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
