How to Use, Explanation

This build utilizes refined Cunning Bow to the max with his kit's various effects. Atk/Spd Menace provides the bonuses and penalties necessary to enhance Cunning Bow, while Remote Sparrow adds another layer of damage reduction. Windsweep's penalty is nullified through Cunning Bow neutralizing the prevent follow-up effect.

Claude is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Claude Strengths

Refined Cunning Bow has multiple effects that aid Claude both offensively and defensively

Refined Cunning Bow grants bonus stats during combat, grants scaling damage reduction on foe's first attack, neutralizes effects that prevent Claude's follow-up attacks, inflicts Def-7 on multiple foes, grants Atk+6 to Claude, and grants additional scaling Atk bonuses and inflicts scaling Def penalties onto his foe.

This refined weapon has multiple stat swings that allow Claude to hit hard despite his low base stats, most of which scale depending on conditions that are quite easy to set up.

The damage reduction effect allows Claude to survive one hit from his foe, which can be the difference between dying in combat and surviving to deal another blow with enhanced offensive stats.

Neutralizes and Debuffs Enemies' Spd and Def

Lull Spd/Def 3 neutralizes bonuses to Spd/Def on foe during combat and also inflicts a -3 penalty to both stats. This makes it easy for Claude to execute a follow-up attack on the said foe and have increased damage because of the lowered Def.

Weak to Cavalry Effective Weapons

Claude takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Ridersbane, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take him down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
