How to Beat Mindflayer

Bait Their Area Attacks Then Go For A Backstab

Mindflaters has an attack that hits all enemies in a 360 degree radius around it. It has a huge lag which opens an opportunity for a backstab.

Avoid Their Projectile Attack

This attack causes paralysis. Once it hits you, the Mindflayer goes for a grab attack that can potentially one-shot low soul level players.
