Decrease damage from falls.

Despite its effect, do not expect complete protection from falls - you will still die when you jump off from a very high place. But, it does offer protection from jumps from lower locations which makes this ring pretty convenient.

You can actually buy this ring from Patches, The Hyena but it is quite expensive, costing 50,000 Souls.

A better alternative is acquiring the ring from the southern area of Leechmonger Archstone. It is found in a swamp which is can be easy to get lost in. Follow the torches that light your parth to get to it. Be warned that the Meat Cleaver Black Phantom is nearby and fighting in the swamp can be difficult.
