More Souls, Less Damage

With each hit, the Needle of Eternal Agony grants 20 souls to the user. However, the damage it deals is so low that we cannot recommend its use in battle.

Hence, it's recommended to be used against NPCs that cannot be killed such as the Maiden in Black and the Monumental to stock up on some souls, albeit at a much slower pace than other farming methods.
