Flamberge Analysis

Dexterity Large Sword

Flamberge is based more on Dexterity than on Strength. However, it is not that easy to wield given its high Strength and Dexterity requirement. It also has a Bleed status effect.

Flamberge Recommended Upgrade Path

Flamberge Recommended Upgrade

Being that it is quite difficult to wield, there are ways around the weapon. If you use two hands, you can handle this even at 12 Str. You can choose the Sharp path to maximize this.

If you want to use a shield with the Flamberge, you may choose the Quality path though it may not quickly show its true usefulness.

An interesting note for the Flamberge: It is the only Large Sword that can go the Crescent path. This is particularly useful for magicians with its high Magic bonus.
