Resistance Against Elemental Attacks

Bonemass' power gives you resistance versus fire, lightning and frost, which are all physical attacks. They're usually reserved for higher level enemies so its useful against them.

When to Use Yagluth's Forsaken Power

Fighting Bosses

While you'll most likely have defeated all the bosses at this point, if ever you fight them again it'll be useful against Yagluth, Eikthyr and Moder.

Exploring Higher Level Areas

Higher level areas have mobs with elemental damage, such as drakes having frost damage. This is a useful skill to have when exploring those areas, or more likely future areas such as the Ashlands or whatever new biomes are coming in further updates.
