How to Take Inkay 1 Star Photo

Inkay in the water
For the 1 Star photo of Inkay, simply get a close-up shot of it floating in the water. There's a few stationary Inkay on the main route of Beach (Night). You could even get them to look your way with scan or a fluffruit.

Swimming on Its Back
To capture a 2 Star photo of Inkay, take a photo of it in Beach (Night) as it swims with its back on the water. To get the Pokemon to swim, feed it Fluffruit and wait until after it waves at you. Once it starts swimming, quickly take a photo of the Pokemon. It is recommended to use Burst Mode when taking this photo since Inkay moves rather quickly.

Waving at the Player
You can take a 3 Star photo of Inkay by feeding any of the Inkay Fluffruit in Beach (Night). After feeding an Inkay, take a photo of the Pokemon as it waves at you.

Light up crystabloom
At the beginning of Reef (Evening), there will be 2 Inkay swimming towards a crystabloom on top of a rock. Get slightly ahead of them using Turbo, then throw an Illumina orb at the crystabloom as the Inkay approach it.
The 2 Inkay will seperate; 1 will continue swimming straight, while the other will go around the rock with the crystabloom on it. Just after the rock, the Inkay will launch into the air while crossing each other. Snap a close-up shot of the Inkay mid-air for the 4 Star Diamond photo.
