For the 1 Star photo of Lumineon, simply snap a close-up shot of it swimming around. In Undersea, there are a lot of Lumineon at the very bottom of the route towards the undersea ruins, but the main route also has a Lumineon close to the NEO-ONE's path.

Lively Lumineon

In Undersea, Lumineon will randomly tilt its head upward with a happy expression on its face. Snap a photo of it at this moment to achieve the 2 Star photo. It's recommended to do this with the Lumineon in the seaweed patch, as all the other Lumineon in Undersea are engaged in other activites that prevent them from randomly doing this specific action.

Sniffing the Sand

For a 3 Star photo of Lumineon, go to the Undersea course research-level 3 and take the first alternate path. In the last area of the course, deep down the sea, you'll find Lumineons walking in the sand. Take a close-up shot of Lumineon while it is sniffing the sand to achieve 3 Star Diamond.

Fighting off the Sharpedo

In Undersea, take the route through the undersea cave. As you're descending the giant hole, you'll encounter a Lumineon fending off a Sharpedo beside a crystabloom. Throw an Illumina orb at the crystabloom and the Lumineon will spin around to attack with the sand. Snap a photo of the Lumineon doing this in order to attain the 4 Star photo.
