While you are going through the first part of the Forest course research-level 3, you'll find Espurr on the cliff on the right side. Focus your camera on Espurr and use the Scan mode till it floats.
Once it lands on the ground, throw a Fluffruit near Espeon and Espurr. They will both approach the Fluffruit, but Espurr will scare Espeon away. Take a close-up shot of a glowing Espurr to achieve 1 Star Diamond.

Repeat the steps on how to get a 1 Star photo of Espurr. But instead of throwing the Fluffruit near both of them, throw it just near Espurr. After Espurr eats the Fluffruit, it will start to celebrate. Take a close-up photo of a happy Espurr to achieve 2 Star Diamond.
