Hoyoverse is known to feature similar characters from Honkai Impact 3rd in their other games. An example is the similarities in the character designs of the Raiden Shogun (Genshin Impact) and Raiden Mei (Honkai Impact 3rd).
The same is true for the characters in Honkai: Star Rail like Bronya, Himeko, Seele, Sushang, Natasha, and Welt Yang.
Bronya in Honkai Impact 3rd and in Honkai Star Rail
Bronya is a playable character in Honkai Impact 3rd, going by the full name of "Bronya Zaychik". In the game, she is portrayed as an expressionless character who talks in a deadpan voice.
Bronya returns in Honkai: Star Rail as "Bronya Rand", the daughter of the Supreme Guardian of Belobog in Jarilo-VI and the leader of the Silvermane Guards. She takes on a steadfast and strong character here!
Himeko in Honkai Impact 3rd and in Honkai Star Rail
Murata Himeko is a teacher and Bronya's squad leader in Honkai Impact 3rd, she is portrayed as a strong leader with alcohol problems. Himeko in Honkai: Star Rail is an adventurous scientist who encountered the Astral Express in her home world and eventually repaired it to travel to various worlds.
Seele in Honkai Impact 3rd and in Honkai Star Rail
Seele or "Seele Vallorei" is another playable character in Honkai Impact 3rd. She is portrayed as a gentle and caring character. Seele in Honkai: Star Rail is a spirited Wild Fire member. Both versions of Seele use the Quantum Element.
Sushang in Honkai Impact 3rd and in Honkai Star Rail
Li Sushang is a playable character in Honkai Impact 3rd, not much is known about her other than the fact she is a strong Valkyrie. In Honkai: Star Rail, Sushang is a helpful member of the Cloud Knights in the Xianzhou Lou area!
Natasha in Honkai Impact 3rd and in Honkai Star Rail
Natasha in Honkai Impact 3rd is known as "Natasha Cioara" and she is also a playable character in the game who seems to be a damage dealer. In Honkai: Star Rail, Natasha is a doctor and a member of the Wildfire in Belobog.
Welt Yang in Honkai Impact 3rd and in Honkai Star Rail
Welt Yang in Honkai Impact 3rd leads an organization named Anti-Entropy. He is not a playable character there but he is featured as part of the story.
Honkai: Star Rail continues his story as the former leader of the Anti-Entropy who ventured into a portal and now travels with the Astral Express.
Acheron as Raiden Mei in Honkai Impact 3rd
In the Eight Day Trailblaze Mission for Version 2.2, It was revealed that Acheron's real name was Raiden Bosenmori Mei confirming that she is an Expy of Raiden Mei from Hoyoverse's Honkai Impact 3rd including all the other references supporting it.
Aside from the big reveal of her name, she had a ton of references calling back to Raiden Mei from previous iterations of Honkai Impact. From Lament of the Fallen, her design, and the fact that she wields the power of Origin.
Silver Wolf as Haxxor Bunny in Honkai Impact 3rd
Silver Wolf is an expy to Bronya, specifically Haxxor Bunny, as HoYoverse even showed Haxxor Bunny in the intro segment of Silver Wolf's character trailer.
Both Silver Wolf and Haxxor Bunny are hackers, are from different universes, and are not related at all to the Bronya in the main universe for Honkai Impact 3rd.
Luocha as Otto in Honkai Impact 3rd
Otto Apocalypse is one of the main antagonists in the first part of Honkai: Impact 3rd. He has done many insufferable deeds throughout the story of Honkai: Star Rail just to revive his childhood friend.
In Honkai Star Rail, we see another version of Luocha carrying a coffin. Welt even gets suspicious of him in Luocha's companion mission, recalling his previous encounter with both Otto and the Void Archives who all have similar features.
Lingsha as Nuwa in Honkai Impact 3rd
Nuwa is a non-playable character in Honkai Impact 3rd who was one of Fu Hua's friends. She also has a twin sister named Fuxi. However, both she and her sister lost their lives during a Judgement class Honkai disaster.
Lingsha is likely an expy for Nuwa as both of them resemble each other closely, with both having the same color scheme.
Aglaea as Aponia in Honkai Impact 3rd
Aponia is a playable character in Honkai Impact 3rd, and a member of the Flame Chasers. She and twelve others fought against the Honkai threat as part of MOTH.
Aglaea is likely an expy of Aponia, as both have similar hair colors and the same dead eyes.
Anaxa as Su in Honkai Impact 3rd
Su was another member of the Flame Chasers, and used psychic powers to fight against the Honkai. He was also in charge of various projects as a Pioneer.
Anaxa is likely an expy of Su, since both have similar hairstyles and hair color, as well as clothing styles and color schemes.
Hyacine as RIN in Honkai Impact 3rd
Instead of being a Flame Chasers, RIN is the younger sister of one of its members, SAKURA.
Hyacine is likely an expy of RIN, thanks to their similar hair color and hairstyle and the fact that they are both cheerful looking.
Mydei as Kosma in Honkai Impact 3rd
Kosma is a member of the Flame Chasers, known to be very reserved, and loves children.
Mydei is likely an expy of Kosma. Although their hair color seems different, their hairstyle, tattooed bodies, and eye color are similar.
Cipher as Pardofelis in Honkai Impact 3rd
Pardofelis is a playable character in Honkai Impact 3rd and is a member of the Flame Chasers. Quick on her feet and with her fingers, she collects (and steals) anything that catches her fancy.
Cipher is likely an expy for Pardofelis, as both are catgirls, have similar hairstyles, and are quick on their feet.
Phainon as Kevin in Honkai Impact 3rd
Kevin Kaslana is a member of the Flame Chasers and is its strongest member, as well as the ancestor of Honkai Impact 3rd's protagonist Kiana Kaslana.
Phainon is likely an expy of Kevin, as they share the same blue eyes, white hair, clothing style, and color scheme. They also both wield swords.
Cyrene as Elysia in Honkai Impact 3rd
Elysia is the powerful co-leader of the Flame Chasers and is ranked second among the thirteen members.
Cyrene appears to be an expy of Elysia as they both sport the same short hairstyle, complete with matching hair accessories. Their hair color and clothes are also very similar.
