33 Immortals Story Plot
You have just died after leading a life full of sin, and now you’re sentenced to eternal punishment by The Almighty. However, you will not keel over so lightly, and so do other like-minded souls who seek Eternal Life instead. 33 of you decide to join forces and decide to rebel against those who deem you unworthy, fighting for your right to claim Eternal Life and become one of the 33 Immortals.
33 Immortals is said to be heavily inspired by The Divine Comedy by Italian Poet Dante Alighieri, where the name ‘33’ was derived from the chapters of the book that would always contain 33 chants.
33 Immortals Gameplay
33 Immortals is a co-op action-roguelike where you can participate in massive raids that can amount to up to 33 players! It will feature several weapons to choose from with different special abilities to perform in preparation for battle. Take up the sword, the bow, the daggers, the staff, and much more yet to be revealed and fight alongside 32 other players to take on hellish dungeons and monsters!
33 Immortals will have a seamless ‘Pick up and Raid’ feature that will enable players to immediately join into ongoing raids, eliminating wait times, allowing players to instantly jump into battle and turn the tides.

Fighting Lucifer Trailer
The Fighting Lucifer trailer is narrated by one of the developers that walks through the basic premise and gameplay of 33 Immortals, ending with the grand fight against the Lucifer boss. The narrator gives tips and tricks before trying to take Lucifer on, as well which attacks to look out for.
Gameplay Trailer
The gameplay trailer shows the various gameplay mechanics the game will feature, from the forming of a party of 33 with other players picking out your weapon of choice, and venturing out to fight hellish ghouls, monsters, and bosses. It also briefly shows NPCs seemingly parodying Dante Alighieri, who wrote The Divine Comedy that the game is hugely inspired by.

The announcement trailer is the reveal of Thunder Lotus’ newest game after their widely-beloved Spiritfarer. 33 Immortals carries the same theme of death their previous works have tackled, but where this time it’s to rebel against eternal punishment alongside 32 other damned souls to achieve eternal life.
