The Great Fairy's Request can only be unlocked after completing The Rift on Eldin Volcano main quest, since this side quest requires Goron City to be restored.
The Rift on Eldin Volcano Walkthrough
Ask the Great Fairy to make you more stylish four times to max out your accessory capacity. Leave, come back, then open the chest that spawns beside the fairy statue to activate her request.

| 1 | Warp to Sea Zora Village, and talk to the shopkeeper inside. |
| 2 | Go to a Business Scrub to make an Unfortunate Smoothie. This is made by using ingredients that don't go together such as Refreshing Grapes and Monster Fang. |
| 3 | Go back to Sea Zora Village, and give the shopkeeper the Unfortunate Smoothie in exchange for the floral seashell. |

| 1 | Warp to the waypoint near Goron City in Eldin Volcano, and go inside the city. |
| 2 | Enter the shop found on the ground floor, then talk to the shopkeeper on the right selling minerals. He'll tell you where to find magma stones. |
| 3 | Go to the Lizalfos Burrow found to the north of Goron City. You can warp here if you've unlocked the nearby waypoint. |
| 4 | Defeat the Lizalfos that have settled in the final chamber of the Lizalfos Burrow. The Goron shopkeeper should arrive afterward and mine you a magma stone. |
