How to Get Neck Tails

Necks are Found Near Bodies of Water

Necks are mostly located near bodies of water in Meadows biomes. They also have a lilly pads on their bodies that act as camouflage so keep an eye out when exploring rivers and shores!

As for hunting them, Necks are currently the weakest hostile monsters in Valheim. This means you can easily hunt them early on with something as simple as a Stone Axe or Torch — You can even hunt them unarmed if you want to!

Run Up and Down the Creek or Beach

Necks can spawn a few times a day in the areas you first find them in. Try going up and down the body of water, sometimes you will find new Necks has spawned in the same place!

Can Be Spawned with Console Command

If you don't mind using cheats to obtain it, Neck Tails can easily be spawned with the console command.
