Alexandra may be used by players in Battle League and Legend League. Knowing how to counter Alexandra may help you raise your ranks in Battle League.
Strengths | Weaknesses |
---|---|
• High Damage Potential (Crimson Cross enhanced by Guardian Knight) • Durability (with the help of Emerald allies) • Scaling Damage which rewards aggressive play • AoE Damage (Shield Surge) • Debuff Potential - Bleed |
• Reliance on Buffs (Guardian Knight) • Limited Crowd Control or Utility • Vulnerable to Burst Damage • Random Targeting |
Shield Surge |
Loyalty to the Pope |
Skill | Skill Effect |
---|---|
Shield Surge | Level 1 (Unlocks by default) Deals 1 physical attack equal to 250% of Alexandra’s ATK to 4 random enemies. |
Level 2 (Unlocks by level 81) Additionally has a 70% chance to inflict [Bleed] on all targets for 1 turn. Each turn, at the start of the action phase, [Bleed] deals damage equal to 50% of Alexandra’s ATK. | |
Level 3 (Unlocks by level 161) The number of turns of [Bleed] becomes 2. |
Skill | Skill Effect |
---|---|
Loyalty to the Pope | Level 1 (Unlocks by level 61) When Alexandra is attacked, this skill restores HP equal to 15% of the damage she takes to her. Her HP is further restored by 15% of the damage she takes for each Emerald Soul ally other than Alexandra who is alive at the start of the battle (her HP can be restored by a total of 60% max). If Alexandra is defeated by the attack, this skill will not activate. This skill activates up to 3 times every turn. |
Level 2 (Unlocks by level 141) This skill now activates up to 5 times every turn. | |
Level 3 (Unlocks by level 221) The amount her HP is restored by becomes equal to 20% of the damage she takes. Her HP is further restored by 20% of the damage she takes for each Emerald Soul ally other than Alexandra who is alive at the start of the battle (her HP can be restored by a total of 80% max). |
Shield Surge offers good AoE damage that scales well and can inflict Bleed for DoT, but it hits random targets at level 1 and relies on Bleed for a portion of the damage. Loyalty to the Pope makes Alexandra incredibly survivable by healing her for a percentage of damage taken, especially with Emerald Soul allies. However, it only activates after she is hurt and does nothing if the attack defeats her.
Crimson Cross |
Guardian Knight’s Desire |
Skill | Skill Effect |
---|---|
Crimson Cross | Level 1 (Unlocks by level 11) Deals 4 physical attacks equal to 320% of her ATK to the enemy with the highest ATK. |
Level 2 (Unlocks by level 21) The number of physical attacks becomes 5. | |
Level 3 (Unlocks by level 101) Additionally, before dealing the physical attacks, if she is enhanced with [Guardian Knight], the number of physical attacks becomes 10. | |
Level 4 (Unlocks by level 181) The physical attacks’ damage becomes equal to 420% of her ATK. |
Skill | Skill Effect |
---|---|
Guardian Knight’s Desire | Level 1 (Unlocks by level 41) At the start of the 7th turn, this skill grants [Guardian Knight] to Alexandra for 20 turns (cannot be dispelled). [Guardian Knight] increases her ATK by an amount equal to 3% of the total damage taken by her before becoming enhanced with this buff, and increases her chance to hit by 80% (her ATK can increase up to 60% of her ATK before any stat increases or decreases were applied to it). |
Level 2 (Unlocks by level 121) The amount [Guardian Knight] increases her ATK by becomes equal to 5% of the total damage taken by her before becoming enhanced with this buff. The amount her ATK can increase up to becomes 100% of her ATK before any stat increases or decreases were applied to it. | |
Level 3 (Unlocks by level 201) At the start of the 7th turn, additionally makes her skill cooldown time 0. | |
Level 4 (Unlocks by ) |
Crimson Cross is a powerful single-target nuke that scales well with Alexandra's attack, but it only focuses on one enemy and doesn't offer any team utility. Guardian Knight's Desire provides a massive attack boost and accuracy increase later in the fight, along with cooldown reduction to unleash her full potential. However, this combo suffers from a delayed power spike as the buff activates on turn 7, leaving Alexandra vulnerable early on.
Cordie |
Cordie's high damage output, critical hit potential, and debuff immunity make her a strong contender to take down Alexandra before she becomes a threat.
Florence |
Florence's critical hit stacking, high physical damage potential, and random targeting with potential focus make her a strong contender to eliminate Alexandra before she becomes a threat. While reaching max stacks on Scarlet Shimmer might require some luck, her overall damage output and critical hit chance can significantly weaken Alexandra.
Belle |
Belle possesses a toolkit that can significantly disrupt and potentially hard counter Alexandra. Her magical attacks, Explosive End and Fire Dragon's Wrath, boast high damage output, potentially eliminating Alexandra before she activates Guardian Knight. Explosive End also carries the chance to dispel the very buff that strengthens Alexandra, further hindering her. Fire Dragon's Wrath guarantees hits and prioritizes low-HP targets, making it ideal for finishing off a buffed Alexandra. While relying on critical hits for the dispel and attack buff can be a slight hurdle, Belle's overall skillset offers a strong counter-strategy against Alexandra.
Soltina | Lunalynn | Rusalka |
Paladea | Amleth | Witch Illya |
Sabrina | Merlyn | Freesia |
Attacker | Buffer | Attacker | Debuffer | Buffer |
---|---|---|---|---|
Florence | Merlyn | Cordie | Soltina | Fenrir |
Fenrir, Merlyn, Florence, and Cordie has a good chance of countering Alexandra thanks to a combination of skills. Fenrir's defense boost and Merlyn's healing help your team stay in the fight. Skills like Merlyn's dispel and Soltina's self-cleanse can counter Alexandra's debuffs. High damage dealers like Florence and Cordie can take her down quickly, especially if Cordie's health is low. Merlyn and Florence's critical hit buffs add extra punch to your attacks.
Tank | Attacker | Attacker | Healer | Debuffer |
---|---|---|---|---|
Amleth | Belle | Sabrina | Freesia | Soltina |
Belle's magic and Amleth's physical damage can take her down quickly, while Sabrina weakens Alexandra's defenses and Soltina removes debuffs to keep your team functioning smoothly. Freesia provides essential healing and damage reduction, keeping your team healthy throughout the fight. This well-rounded team offers strong offense, support, and debuff removal, making it a great choice for countering Alexandra.
Primavera |
While her damage can be high, her reliance on single-target physical attacks and lack of dispel might make her less effective.
Ophelia |
Her random targeting and limited debuff duration can make it difficult to consistently counter Alexandra's burst damage.
Amour |
While she can be disruptive, her self-revive relies on being defeated first, and her lower base damage might not be enough to take down a buffed Alexandra.
Use characters that can interrupt Alexandra with debuffs like Buff Immunity, Sleep, Fainted or other crowd-control effects before she activates Guardian Knight's Desire. This prevents her from getting her big attack boost and cooldown reduction.
Use High Damage characters that can deal massive damage quickly so that they can take Alexandra out befores she becomes a threat when Guardian Knight's Desire gets activated. Alexandra gets this skill activated at her 7th turn, so make sure she gets shot down before that.
