How to Get Vamp Personality for the Hero
Choose Appearance B
For the Hero, the Vamp personality is only available for females, or Appearance B. Be sure to select this when starting a new game to increase your chances of getting Vamp.
Can You Change Gender and Appearance?
Male Party Members Can Get Vamp Personality in the Remake
With the usage of Seeds, Male party members can now obtain the Vamp personality in Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake.
This is vastly different from previous versions of the game, as Vamp used to be a female-exclusive personality.
Follow the Question Route to Vamp
Start the quiz by answering yes to the first set of questions. When you reach the question, Is it unforgivable to break a promise no matter what?, answer no three times. Then, finish the quiz by answering yes to the remaining questions.

Items and Books to Get Vamp Personality
Use Guns 'n' Buns to Change to Vamp
Guns 'n' Buns is the only book that allows you to change to the Vamp personality. As in previous versions, this change is only possible if you chose Appearance B or the female appearance. Using it on Appearance A will change you to Charmer instead.
Equip the Garter
Garter is a piece of equipment you can use to change to Vamp. The earliest you can obtain it is through Mini Medals, so make sure to gather them quickly to exchange for a Garter.

Best Job Classes for Vamp
Best Vocation for the Hero Class
The best vocation that takes advantage of the Vamp personality is the Hero job class. Since the Hero cannot change classes, it is recommended to stick with Vamp in order to reap the benefits of its stat growths.

Magic-Based Classes
Other magic-based vocations also work well with the Vamp personality. Some vocations to consider for this personality include Mage, Sage, and Gadabout.

Vamp is the best personality for the Hero, as it will help improve physical attacks, spells, and recovery. Do note that this personality is only available when the hero's gender is female.
