The Warrior class is characterized by high HP and high attack power, making them the ideal frontline in any battle. While they do have low agility, you can offset this by building them in a way that can increase their durability.

The Martial Artist class are the best attackers you can have in your party. Their high speeds and high critical hit rate can easily mop the floor with enemies. However, they can be difficult to use in their early levels, so make sure to support them with Sages or Priests in your party!

The Sage is a mix of both Mage and Priest classes. They can learn a lot of spells, making them the ultimate magic character in your party. The downside to this vocation is its slow growth, so it's best to change to this vocation towards the later stages of the game.
The Sage is not available at the start of the game. You can only turn into this class by either being a Gadabout class first or using the Words of Wisdom item.

The Thief has the most agility stat growth amongst all vocations. With the proper class changes throughout the game, this can be the most useful and most versatile character you can have in your party.

Merchants have a quick growth rate and a decent amount of attack power. They're especially useful for earning gold because of their special ability where you can get more gold after a battle. However, for the later stages of the game, it's best to just change this class into other, more powerful classes.

Gadabouts are unpredictable when it reaches higher levels. You can take the risk of having them improve your party's capabilities or destroy your chances of winning a battle! This class is the only class that can be changed into a Sage at level 20, so we recommend ditching the jesters hat for a magic staff when this happens!
Gadabout Job Class and Best Personality
As first teased in the Collector's Edition, Monster Wrangler is a new vocation exclusive to the remake. Not much has been revealed about this new vocation, other than that it can hit multiple enemies and heal the party with its skills and abilities!
Monster Wrangler Job Class Guide
To change a character's vocation, you must reach level 20 with them then go to Alltrades Abbey. This can be done to all vocations except for the Hero class. For the Sage class, you must come from the Gadabout class first or have the Words of Wisdom item.
All party members with new vocations revert to Level 1, retaining 50% of their attributes. Spells learned from the previous class are also kept, offering more versatility upon reclassing.
