You can use Seeds to adjust a character's stats and change their personality to better fit their vocation. It is a good idea to farm Seeds throughout the game to have a steady supply of these items in case you want to change personalities.
Do note that each vocation may require different stat changes before their personality can change.

You can use this book to change your personality to Clown, along with the personality's stat growth rate changes.

Clown is a great personality for the Martial Artist vocation thanks to its high stat growth rate for Agility. If you want to specialize on Agility, you can instead use Bat Out of Hell, or Daredevil if you want to capitalize on Strength.
