Autosave is a function present in Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake. This is a welcoming feature for this remake since save points were scarce in previous games.

Dragon Quest 3 - Autosave In Game

Autosave is the newest save available in Dragon Quest 3. This save is automatic and happens whenever a book icon appears at the bottom left of your screen.

Do not close your game during an autosave to prevent a mess up with your progress.

Quick Save

Dragon Quest 3 - Regular Save Option

Quick Save allows the players to create a temporary save during gameplay. This can be done through the menu, and selecting Stop Adventuring.
