Bring Ways to Counter Thwack
Since Thwack can instantly kill party members if it lands, you want to make sure that you bring measures to protect against it. It's recommended to put Dieamends in your bag to absorb the hit, but you can also use anti-instakill equipment.

Cast Insulatle and Magic Barrier
On top of using Fire and Spell resistant gear, you'll want to cast Insulatle and Magic Barrier to reduce the damage of the boss' attacks. You can also cast Kabuff if you wish, but you still need to use some turns to heal your party.
Seal Spells with the Fizzle Effect
Even with an expanded moveset, Soul of Baramos still uses a lot of spells. Make sure to seal their spells with Fizzle, the Staff of Rain, or a Staff of Antimagic so that you only have to worry about its regular attacks and Inferno.
Use Wild Side and Monster Pile-On
Like the previous boss, you want to use the Monster Wrangler's combo of Wild Side and Monster Pile-On as your main form of damage. This bypasses Dazzle so you can freely use this move without worrying about it missing.
