Elevating Shoes | Footwear that enhances experience with every single step. |
The Elevating Shoes is a pre-order bonus that allows players to gain experience for each step they take in the overworld.
This is best for players still in the early game, as this allows for easier grinding while your required EXP for levelling up is not too high yet.
However, this item is only available as a pre-order bonus so if players miss out on pre-ordering the game, they will miss out on this item.

Metal Slimes is your go-to enemy to farm levels with. They give out lots of experience points, allowing you to rack up levels as quickly as possible.
Ways to Beat Metal Slimes |

|
While the Poison Needle inflicts only one point of damage, it has a chance to instant kill an enemy. Equip all party members with this weapon to increase your chances of activating this effect and easily defeat the Metal Slimes.
The Coagulant item can confuse an enemy, making them unable to escape. There is also a chance that confused monsters will attack the other monsters, making it very effective in wiping out Metal Slimes.
The Headman's Axe has low accuracy, but when it connects, it's always going to be a critical hit. We recommend equipping this weapon to the Warrior Class in your party.
The Puff! spell can deal massive damage to Metal Slimes because of its fiery nature. The downside is that it takes one turn to transform into a dragon before you can attack, so we recommend you use the spell Acceleratle to characters with slow speed.
The Puff! spell can only be learned by the Sage and Mage Classes at Level 34.
Martial Artist Class characters have a high critical hit rate, so having them as your main offense in your party will ensure high damage against the Metal Slimes.
All DQ3 Classes: List of Jobs and Vocations
The experience points you gain are divided by the number of people in your party. With this in mind, to level up fast, reduce the number of people in your party and focus on the specific Job Class you want to level up.
The best place to level up for the early-to mid-game is to defeat Metal Slimes in the Tower of Transcendence. Each slime can give you 4,140 experience points, which is more than any monster you can face at this point in your gameplay.

The best place to level up for the end-game is by defeating Liquid Metal Slimes in Rimuldar. These slimes can give 40,200 experience points. You'll be racking up levels fast as you go along this area and defeating this type of enemy.
