The Dead Space Remake features plenty of secrets and hidden easter eggs tucked away in the dark corners of the USG Ishimura. Read on to learn about all currently known secrets, Break Room codes, and easter eggs you can find in-game as well as their rewards!

In Chapter 4, you can find a Break Room on your way to Electrical Systems. On the floor of this room is a circle of blood with hand and shoe patterns, which actually correspond to Isaac's melee and stomp attacks.
Entering the circle of blood and performing the inputs on the floor, listed below, rewards you with the secret Unknown Text Log:

In Chapter 10, you can find another Break Room code on the wall of Captain B. Mathius' room in the Executive Quarters. Reaching this room requires obtaining the Exec Quarters Keycard in the Executive Bathrooms and shooting the fuse in the adjacent room.
Backtracking to the Break Room and inputting the code found on the wall, listed below, rewards you with two Power Nodes.

Throughout the game, you can find numerous fragmented Break Room codes signified by a Marker symbol with waves underneath. Compiling all of these codes and inputting them in the Break Room circle unlocks the Strange Shanty Audio Log, which references the 18th century sea shanty "Soon May the Wellerman Come".
Enter the Break Room's circle of blood and perform the following inputs, listed below, to obtain the Strange Shanty Audio Log.

The Peng Treasure is a recurring collectible easter egg in the Dead Space franchise, first appearing in the original 2008 game. Obtaining this Treasure in the Remake provides the There's Always Peng! Achievement and 30,000 Credits from selling it at the Store.

After starting a game on New Game Plus, you can find several new Text Logs under Side Missions in your Database menu.
These logs provide plenty of lore and references for players to discover. In particular, this includes the Life on the Sprawl log, which references the "Sprawl on Titan," better known as the primary setting of the original Dead Space 2.
