Chapter 2 Schematic Locations

Item Unlock	Location
Pulse Rounds	Schematic found inside the Coolant Pipelines room in Chapter 2, to your immediate left after leaving the oxygenless area.
Stasis Pack	Schematic found in the Main Lab Changing Room in Chapter 2, after clearing the quarantine.

Chapter 3 Schematic Locations

Item Unlock	Location
Flamethrower Fuel	Schematic found in Chapter 3, beside the Primary Engine computer in the Engine Room that ignites the engines.
Medium Med Pack	Schematic found inside an open locker past the Decontamination Room in Chapter 3, right before the hallway leading to the Centrifuge.
Ripper Blades	Schematic found inside an open room beside the second elevator leading down in Fuel Storage in Chapter 3.

Chapter 4 Schematic Locations

Item Unlock	Location
Suit Level 3	Schematic can be found during Chapter 4, inside the EVA Prep Room at the Water Purification level of the Bridge. This area is accessed while Isaac makes his way to the exterior of the Ishimura in order to calibrate the ADS Cannons.

Chapter 5 Schematic Locations

Item Unlock	Location
Line Racks	Schematic found inside the Dr. B. Warwick - CPO room in the hallway leading to Zero-G Therapy in Chapter 5. Requires Security Clearance Level 2.

Chapter 6 Schematic Locations

Item Unlock	Location
Force Energy	Schematics found inside the Air Filtration Tower in Chapter 6, in a small room between the first and second electricity turbines.

Chapter 7 Schematic Locations

Item Unlock	Location
Contact Energy	Ammunition for the Contact Beam. These power cells run the Contact Beam's energy projector, but burn out quickly.
Suit Level 4	Schematic can be found on top of a desk located inside the Equipment Workshop of the Mining Deck. Players will arrive at this location while searching for the SOS Beacon for the main story quest.

Chapter 8 Schematic Locations

Item Unlock	Location
Oxygen Tank	Schematic found inside the Platform Storage room of the Refueling Control Stations area in Engineering. Requires Level 2 Security Clearance to open.

Chapter 9 Schematic Locations

Item Unlock	Location
Large Med Pack	Schematic found on a desk to your left after entering the Infirmary in Chapter 9, right before the malfunctioning lasers.

Note: The Large Med Pack Schematic is one of the game's only truly missable schematics as you will no longer be able to revisit the USM Valor once you complete Chapter 9.

Chapter 10 Schematic Locations

Item Unlock	Location
Suit Level 5	Schematic can be found during Chapter 10, inside the Standard Bathrooms of the Crew Quarters. This area can be accessed while Isaac finds the Crew Deck Key during the chapter.

New Game Plus Schematic Locations

Item Unlock	Location
Level 6 EDF RIG	Schematic can be unlocked in New Game Plus. Players will need to have completed the game on any difficulty

Note: The Level 6 EDF RIG will not count towards getting the Merchant Trophy. Only the first 13 Schematics acquired are considered when fulfilling the requirements of the achievement.

How to Use Schematics

Upload Schematics to the Store

Dead Space Remake (2022) - Upload Schematics in the Store

To use Schematics, visit any Store in the game and interact with it. Doing this will automatically upload all Schematics in your inventory, letting you purchase the items they unlock using Credits.

Weapons Schematics Have Been Removed in the Remake

Dead Space Remake - Flamethrower Fuel Schematic In-Game Location

In a departure from the original, schematics for weapons have been removed from the Dead Space Remake. They can now be obtained from locked areas or by progressing through the game instead of having to find and upload their Schematics to the store.

Reward for Collecting All Schematics

Collect All 13 Schematics to Receive the Merchant Trophy

Bronze G:10	Merchant
Bronze G:10	Collect all Schematics.

Completionists of the game will need to collect the first 13 Schematics (minus the Level 6 Suit in NG+) in order to get the Merchant trophy. Make sure to get them all in a single run so as not to repeat the task over in NG+.
