High-Yield Grenades	Grenades have a much larger blast radius.	Found behind a Master Override door in the Water Purification floor of the Bridge.

Special Upgrades are brand new items introduced in the remake which extend the upgrade tree of the affected weapon. They also unlock special nodes you can purchase using power nodes which greatly boost the stats of the weapon.

How to Use the Pulse Rifle

Target Limbs with Rapid-Fire Shots

With its large ammo capacity and rapid fire rate, the Pulse Rifle is an excellent tool for targeting Necromorph weak spots and laying down constant and consistent damage. However, the weapon demands precise aim, as it can quickly tear through your ammo reserves.

Lay Down Traps with Proximity Mines

The Pulse Rifle's secondary fire launches an explosive Proximity Mine at the cost of 25 rounds. Use it to lay down explosive traps along choke points and narrow hallways or shoot the mines directly at groups of Necromorphs to quickly take them down.
