List of Contents
Pregnants
Despite their hulking size, Pregnants are extremely fast and agile! Like Slashers, they have long scythelike arms for hands. Their large stomach sacs contain dozens of small swarm necromorphs. When blown up, the Pregnant necromorph releases the swarm, creating a secondary threat. |

Cast stasis on Pregnants to slow their approach, and give you a clear shot on their weak spots.
When aiming at a Pregnant's limbs, make sure to shoot their legs first, followed by their arms.
This strategy slows the pregnant down, allowing you to deal with other enemies in the area.
The Pregnant's stomach store Swarmers. When a Pregnant's stomach is shot and ruptured, it releases the Swarmers creating a secondary threat you would not want to deal with specially when facing a horde.
Super-Pregnant
Super-Pregnants, are tougher and faster versions of the Pregnant Necromorph. They have a distinct muddied texture and a green glow on their eyes and stomachs. They also carry Lurkers inside their stomachs instead of Swarmers. |

In appearance, Super-Pregnants have mud-textured skin and a green glow in their eyes and stomachs. However, it is noticeable in combat that they are far more durable and faster than their standard variants.
Rather than Swarmers, what comes out of a Super-Pregnant's stomach is either a Lurker or Super-Lurker.
They are also capable of self-destructing when near Isaac which deals a moderate ammount of damage, but is dangerous when encountered in groups.
If a Pregnant hits Isaac while on low health, it will dismember him similar to other necromorphs that hit him when on low health.
