Elizabeth Cross' Backstory

CEC Horticulturalist

Elizabeth Cross was a horticulturist working aboard the USG Ishimura. It can be assumed that she was employed by the Concordance Extraction Corporation when she was assigned as a crew member to their flagship vessel.

Prior to her assignment to the USG Ishimura, she is known to have an intimate relationship with fellow crew member Jacob Temple.

Elizabeth Cross' Role

Helping Isaac

Elizabeth Cross was one of the surviving crew members aboard the Ishimura when the USG Kellion arrived at the planet-cracker vessel.

Cross established communication with Isaac when he entered the Hydroponics area. Cross communicated with the RIG system and informed Isaac about the Leviathan and its impending threat to the USG Ishimura if left alive.

She further explained that the only way to prevent the spread of contamination is to inject a specialized liquid into these mutated creatures that are pumping toxic gasses throughout the entirety are called Wheezers.

Wishful Reunion

After having Isaac administered the injections into the Wheezers, and the Leviathan ejected from the ship, Isaac established communication with Cross to inform her of his success in the mission.

Cross contemplated seeing Jacob, wishing nothing more than to be reunited with him.

Illusions of the Marker

After returning the Marker to its pedestal, Isaac was stopped in his tracks by Kendra Daniels as she held Nicole Brennan at gunpoint.

Daniels later revealed that Nicole had long been deceased and that the Nicole she was currently taking hostage was Elizabeth Cross. She stated that the Marker was manipulating both of them into doing its bidding. Jacob Temple for Elizabeth and Nicole Brennan for Issac.

Cross was later shot by Daniels when she requested to be killed upon learning that Jacob Temple was dead.
