These large, tree-trunk-thick tentacles occasionally whip out from the ship’s darkened corridors. They use their harpoonlike tongue to grab your foot and drag you into-their lair. You cannot slow it down or defeat it before it gets you on your back, so don’t bother firing on it when it emerges from the hall.

How to Beat Tentacles

Aim for The Sac

To beat a Tentacle, you must shoot its yellow sac causing it to explode and splitting the tentacle in two. The best weapons to use for these encounters would be a Pulse Rifle or a Contact Beam.

Death from Tentacle

Isaac is Dragged to the Unknown

If Isaac fails to shoot a Tentacle's sac, it will drag him down its hole and the horror that awaits him there is not shown. The death scenes from each Tentacle encounters are unique and may vary.
