How to Pin an Enemy |

To make this easier for yourself, make sure you are fighting enemies in areas with tight spaces or nearby walls. Areas like the Bridge's Main Atrium are a no-go given how open the space is, making it hard to find anywhere to pin your enemies.
Note While you can theoretically pin enemies to the ground, the angle of the projectile while held by Kinesis makes it a bit awkward. Aiming for pins against vertical surfaces will always be much easier.
The Main Lab of the Medical Deck is one of the best places to attempt this challenge since it has a lot of breakable pipes to use and its entire upper walkway will be hugging the walls of the large room. With it being a favorite for those sudden quarantine scenarios, you'll have multiple attempts at completing the challenge just by revisiting this area.
To attempt a pin, use Kinesis to pick up pipes marked by a blue glow on both ends, or the dismembered points of slasher limbs. Once in position, hit your Fire button to launch the projectile at your enemy.
Note: When attempting a pin, make sure to stand back. Too near and the enemy can knock away the projectile while you hold it with Kinesis.
Once you manage to lure an enemy next to a wall, you can use Stasis to buy yourself time to pick up your projectile and reposition. Remember, you only need one pin to get the achievement, so taking your time is a must in order to get this in one go.
If you find that the Kinesis Throw isn't doing enough damage for a pin, consider upgrading your Kinesis Module via the Bench upgrade tree of your Suit. Use Power Nodes and invest some point in Kinetic Throw Damage to help with this challenge.
