Dead Space Remake - All Video Log Locations

Video Logs are a special type of collectible in the Dead Space Remake (2023) that play when NPCs contact Isaac Clarke. Collect these logs for replay as the remake has reworked a lot of them with updated character models and dialogue. Read on for a complete list of all video logs and when you can get them in the game.

Chapter 1: New Arrivals Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
Repair the Tram System Triggers when you first enter the Tram Control Room.
Found the Data Board Triggers after you pick up the Data Board inside the Maintenance Bay Office.
En Route to Bridge Triggers as soon as you get the tram running for Daniels and Hammond.
Go to Medical Triggers as soon as you deal with the Necromorphs after the Kellion explodes.

Chapter 2: Intensive Care Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
Destroy the Barricade Triggers as soon as enter the Security Station of the Medical Deck.
Go to Engineering Triggers once you ride the Morgue elevator after securing the Captain’s RIG.

Chapter 3: Course Correction Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
Engine Diagnostics Triggers as soon as you interact with the Control Console inside Engineering’s lobby.
Go to the Bridge Triggers as soon as you leave the Engine Room after firing the engine.

Chapter 4: Obliteration Imminent Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
The Marker Triggers as soon as you reach the Bridge Tram Station.
Captain's Fate Found inside the Armory of the Bridge Security Room.

Chapter 5: Lethal Devotion Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
Go to Hyrdoponics Triggers after you defeat the Hunter Necromorph.

Chapter 6: Environmental Hazard Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
The SOS Beacon Triggers once you reach the hallway between Food Storage and the Hydroponics Central Hub.

Chapter 7: Into the Void Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
Hammond's Return Triggers as soon as you enter the Mining Deck.
Through the Vents Triggers while riding the Mining Elevator.
Go to Communications Triggers once you activate the Mining elevator after being chased by the Hunter.

Chapter 8: Search and Rescue Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
Chance For Rescue Triggers as soon as you arrive at the Bridge Tram Station.
First Contact Triggers when you first contact the USM Valor.
Hit the Manual Release Plays right after the Video Log, First Contact.
No Survivors Triggers once Kendra tries to contact the USM Valor.

Chapter 9: Dead on Arrival Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
Dr. Kyne Triggers as you use the elevator to descend down to Floor 1 of the USM Valor.

Chapter 10: End of Days Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
The Marker is Active Triggers as soon as you reach the Crew Deck Tram Station.
Retrieve the Marker Triggers once you deal with the large tentacle that grabs you after defeating the Hunter.

Chapter 11: Alternate Solutions Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
Get to Cargo Triggers while riding the tram on the way to the Cargo Bay.
Betrayal Triggers once the Kendra leaves with the shuttle.
Nicole’s Return Triggers after the Betrayal video log plays out.

Chapter 12: Dead Space Video Logs

Video Log Event Trigger
Nicole’s Farewell Triggers when you reunite with Kendra Daniels after placing the Marker on the pedestal.

How to Replay Video Logs

Open Your Suit Menu and Replay From the Database

Dead Space Remake - How to Replay Logs

To view any of your collected Video Logs, simply head on over to the Suit Menu and navigate to the Database. Any collected logs will be displayed and grouped by chapter allowing you to view everything from video, text, and even audio logs from all 12 chapters of the Dead Space Remake.
